My research

Grounded in architecture and urban planning, my work has unfolded into a transdisciplinary inquiry on the entanglements between social and ecological systems. I draw on this perspective to advance transformative and relational approaches, bridging theoretical development and practical impact in contexts of socio-ecological change.

Building on this transdisciplinary perspective, my research draws on and combines critical fields and approaches including: political ecology, feminist political ecology, relational thinking, social, transformative, and transgressive learning, critical pedagogy, as well as participatory and creative methodologies.

I apply this perspective to the field of water, river regeneration, and territorial transformation, engaging with local initiatives involving multiple actors to understand and enable transformation on the ground.
